Veronese Easters at the 80th Venice International Film Festival
The presentation took place at the Hotel Excelsior, adjacent to the Palazzo del Cinema, at Lungomare G. Marconi 41, within the Veneto Region’s exhibition space.
Among the attendees were Cristiano Corazzari, Regional Councillor for Culture of the Veneto Region; Tommaso Giusto, director; Stefano Paiusco, actor and narrator (who portrays in the film the Franciscan Father Luigi Maria da Verona, born Domenico Frangini, executed by the French revolutionaries);
and Nicola Cavedini, screenwriter and President of Veronese Easters Celebration Committee.
The event was moderated by Maurizio Ruggiero, story writer and Secretary of the Committee, which also served as the film’s producer.
Historical soldiers wearing Veronese and Venetian uniforms from 226 years ago were also present at the event.
